Your Story Disability Legal Support
Your Story Disability Legal Support (www.yourstorydisabilitylegal.org.au) is a free national legal service. It gives information and advice to people who want to tell their story to the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
We are independent from the Disability Royal Commission.
We help people with disability, and their families, carers, supporters and advocates.
This service is a joint initiative of National Legal Aid and National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services.
Your Story Disability Evaluation Report November 2023
Social Ventures Australia (SVA) Consulting was engaged in 2023 to undertake an evaluation of Your Story. The objective of the evaluation was to understand the outcomes created for people with disability, their families, carers and supporters, and explore the effectiveness of the service model. The evaluation was based on service data and consultations with clients, staff and key stakeholders through surveys, focus groups and interviews.
